The book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. Well, not really. I just really want to say that. :D She did not wish anything in return. Just being her generous self.

Four out of Five stars.

This New Adult book of Autumn Doughton is one of the reasons why I want to hug and kiss the inventor or discoverer of creative writing. Her prose are something you want to pour inside of you so you can carry it forever. And the way the words are weaved, I did not expect them to be this catchy and magical. The author, no doubt, has the talent.

Then we have the characters: Cole Everly and Aimee Spencer. Their stories made me think of real life situations. No matter how long you've been friends with a person, you'll still end up being surprised of who they really are. Cole Everly might be your typical playboy--hot and gorgeous--but deep inside,  the road to the betterment of his life was under construction. Same goes with Aimee Spencer. I wanted to give her the "Athlete of the Year" award for being the best runner. . .for running away from her problems. She did it exceptionally. I couldn't blame her though. What happened to her and to her bestfriend, Jillian, is something unimaginable.
As they zombie-walk through their pretensions, they would discover that having each other might be the mute button for their cacophonies.

"Don't you get it? No one has ever been anything to me until you."
The romance between the two of them is one thing I loved. They did not have a single idea how to have someone you seriously care about. They did not rush, they took one step at a time and that was something every one of us would like a relationships (same with that) to become.

I recommend this book for those who loved Sea of Tranquility!
